Please has anyone else with reflux

Ever had a swollen throat? If I look in the mirror the left side of my throat where tonsils would have been is swollen, Im not sure if thats caused by reflux, I know people say they have a sore throat but would it be swollen?and for 10mths!!!

yes, i have swollen lymph nodes as we speak and reflux and sore throats constantly right now. I am trying to remain calm and enjoy thr festivities b/c i am so sick of living w/ worry and pain. You are NOT alone, i am going through the same thing and the drs seem to be able to only do so much right now...a revolving door of meRAB. I know its not good to have constant inflammation but at the same time its not like i need to be in the hospital today and I AM DOING THE BEST I CAN (so are you)...so i'm trying to go about my life as normal as possible. Take care and i am so sorry you are suffering too. Let me know what happens with your swollen lymph nodes, do you notice it comes and goes for weeks at a time? although anymore its pretty constant for me :( my stomach hates me and i hate lpr/gerd and i just want to be frienRAB w/ my stomach again....try, try, try.

By the way, just found this link on Lymph Nodes, you might find it interesting! And yes mine are up a little too, especially under the left jaw. Even had shooting pains in it from time to time.

yes, mine are swollen, not massively but swollen :( i was given an antibiotic last month that helped with the swelling and throat itchiness and burning and then made the reflux tremendously worse and started the process all over again...boy do i hear you. Do you have a fever? I hate that my poor body is constantly trying to corabat infection from my esophagus being inflamed nonstop for 6 months now. Anyways, keep in touch, i can relate and hope this passes for us both.
 
i agree!!!!! i just saw my aunts tonight (both nurses in icu) and they were super concerned about why i'm so thin, ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....so i told them a little of whats been going on and they said that is not right and my aunt called her brother whom is some type of dr tonight and he told her i need a THIRD opinion and soon and i can use his name for a referral. She told me everything will most likely be fine but it is not good/right to always be inflammed in my esophagus....i wanted to tell them about this board and how i am soooo not alone and we are so proactive about our health. So, since yet another person has scared me in the past 3 days i started this stupid carafate tonight to hopefully help heal the ulcers and i guess give this nexium another go.

Is anyone else out there losing weight like me? having people concerned about you? I wear larger clothes to hide my slimming figure because it makes others want to cry which in turn makes me want to cry. I just want to be ok...like you guys. I just don't get it. i really don't.

I am normally a pretty optimistic person (outside of this board) but this has gotten the best of me. We have to put our heaRAB together and help each other get better this coming year.

Do you have swollen lymph nodes too?
Im sooo scared right now I just cant think about anything else.
I dont have a fever now but months ago I kept having like hot spells, put that down to the menopause tho.?
