please explain my verizon plan to me? (it won't be that hard, I promise!)?

okay... so i am on my uncle's plan and i have unlimited texting and 25 mb per month, and we all share 1400 minutes. i have the rogue, so please explain to me how the 25 mb works and can I send pictures? that's why i got the 25 mb because I was told you need 25 mb to pic/vid text. also, does 25 mb mean i can use mobile IM? please clarify for me. simple concept, but non one really explained this all to me... thanx
