Gazing into the nightsky, my town winks a sleepless eye.
I hear her voice, Shake my window, sweet seducing sighs
Feel presence, mere beauty enthralls my delicate bones.
The soft precipitate of freedom just a light moan.
I see her figure through the curtain, shadows canopied through a distant glow
Gentle, delicate, compassion through the slow...
Illumination of the night-sky canopied by a holy hand
Enlightenment, radiance over the land
As i look out across the morning, my cities heart begins to beat
A place to live and praise, where hearts meet
Im reaching out to touch a stranger, electric eyes are everywhere
See that girl, she knows im watching she likes the way i stare,
So get me out into the nightsky, four walls won’t hold me tonight
If that girl is just an apple then let me take a bite.
