My old Ex best friend and I got into a fight at work. She is 17 i am 18 years old(i know dumb). We were arguing at the back of the gym. BEcause of a peace letter i wrote her, telling her we should just get along. She took one of my comments the wrong way I said"IF you have some thing to say, say it to my face don't go around talking crap about me like you have in the past i am more than willing to just solve any issues we had in a mature way if you have the guts" She got offended by this one comment and She started yelling and cussing at me in my face. I repeatedly told her she was overeacting. Later I said, what are you going to do, hit me? just hit me then. I new she was filled with emotion and if she decided to just hit me she would be fired on the spot.
However she didn't. When i reached over to grab the peace note she had, that i wrote to her. She reacted in anger grabbed me by the hair and hit me in the the eye and cut me ,blood was everywhere. Right then I new she was going to be fired, I thought to get away but I realized i was stuck in that position, she had my hair while she was punching me. All i had was my right arm and started punching back in anger, I told her "Get off me!!" at least 6 times. I continued to punched her face to get her off,I even tried to kick her to get her off. Even though I am 18 i'm 109 pounds and she is 17 140 pounds she pretty much over powered me. If i was bigger I would of pushed her off me and told the manger but I was stuck and she had my hair . All i could do was fight back. This is my first fight, I never fought in my life, this was not my plan. I am one of the nicest girls ever but I got caught in something dumb. I dont want to go to jail. I heard i might go to jail since i'm a adult and shes a minor. What should I do? I would never hit someone first because ive never been in a fight. I'm the only black girl in the neiborhood and witnesses are sayin i started it and making stuff up. I dont even know how to fight .She pressed charges. I know its Petty Sorry for the lousy spelling in a hurry.
