Please can you tell me if my homework is right?
ok so for the first question I had to find the inverse of F(x)=y=-2x+3
and I got: x=-2y+3
2y=-x+3
y=(-1/2)x-3/2
and for the next one I had 2 graphs: f(x)=y=-2x+3 and its inverse, and I had to find their point of intersection and I got:
y=-2x+3
x=-2y+3
-2y=-x+3
y=-x/2+3/2
f^-1(x)= -x/2 +3/2
Intersection: f(x)=f^-1(x)
-2x+3=-x/2+3/2
-3x/2=-3/2
x=1
therefore the point of intersection is (1;1)
Is it right or wrong? Please help!!
