Please answer...What causes sensitivity to smells, nausea, mood swings?

I've been extra sensitive to smells lately, most make me sick! I thought that I could be pregnant (since I take my birth control very sporadically, like I miss 1-2 pills every week). The test said negative. I haven't had a normal period in some time because I take my pills through so I don't have to deal with the ickyness of bleeding. Anywho, along with the increased sensitivity to smells (I can't even stand the smell from my own cigarettes anymore!) I've been nauseated. I've been really really moody as well, almost like being on a rollercoaster for the past few weeks, I'll be laughing one minute and the next crying. Can anything other than pregnancy be causing this?
I'm 24. Yes I smoke and am on the pill. I am aware that it increases the risk for many bad diseases. I am trying to quit! :) ((I have 1 daughter already.))
I've always taken it on and off because I can never remember to take it...I've never had these symptoms before...

there are some girls who take the pg test
and it says not they are not
prego but they really are.
go talk to a doctor and see what
happens for you!!
do that as soon as possible please!!

good luck

Those are totally symptoms of pregnancy. Especially the hightened senses. Home tests aren't 100% - go to your local free clinic or planned parenthood for a cheap/free test that is more accurate.

Or...it could be your on again/off again use of birth control. That's not stuff to mess with - it's hormone related (and your senses are controlled by your hormones). So, do some research about the exact pill you are on. Make sure that you either stop taking it, or start taking it as directed - you don't want to mess with your hormones.

If neither of those two take care of it, you should see your doctor.

One way or another, this sounds totally like hormones. And if it's not birth control or pregnancy related - then, there is a bigger situation there.

Good luck girl!
