hello,my first parakeet i got 5 days ago from a neighbor. she couldnt tell the gender.
before i got it i researched how to tell them apart. i tryed choosing a girl but i think its a boy. by the second day around its nostrells it started to become a light blue color and the rest is purple. is it a boy or girl?
i got my second 1 yesterday and i no its a girl.
heres my second question, the he/she parakeet started to do something today. it was under the females belly. well it looked like it was trying to puch it off.i put both in the cover top nest thing and they got along and stayed there 4 about 3-4 minutes and got out. they were kissing 2 and wat it looked was also grooming as well.
my qoustion is that a mating thing with pushing off. answer the first question 2. please and thank u

some times when they get close they start screaming, but most of the time they get along wen there close
