It would help to know your ages. His behavior could mean anything from he's into you to he's being nice and playing into a schoolgirl crush to spare your feelings.

Edit - At your age, an eight year age gap is way too much. He should be matured well beyond having romantic interest in a 17 year old at this point. If he is interested in you as anything more than a dance student, he's got issues and should be avoided. I don't recommend pursuing anything beyond dance classes with him.

well anways i ahve been doing dacning for a few months now and this gu just recently started coming in to teach us street dance and well hes awsome we get along dead well and always have them stupied arguments and i had a slight thing for someone befor and told him and he was like aww im gutted i alwas thought you had a special thing for me and i wanted to turn you down 8-)
i feel so akward
 
It is hard to say whether he likes you or he knows that you like him back. I think he likes to joke around with you and stuff. I would say you have a chance with him only if he is single and he is not more than 5 years older than you, especially if you are only a teenager. If he is close to your age and young himself and he doesn't have anybody, then flirt away. He might like you more.
 
it depends, how old are you both? if you are both a suitable age for eachother then he may fancy you back :) he seems flirty ..

however, if he's old enough to be your dad or whatever, he's just being friendly :)


EDIT: unless he's married or got a girlfriend, i'd say he's got a bit of a crush on you too ;) just see where it leads, give him flirty smiles etc. good luck ;) x
