my husband has a playstation 3. he also has three children and me. I do everything that needs doing, take the car to get fixed, kids to the doctor's office, dentist, eye dr, whatever, keep the house clean and orderly, take care of school projects and everything, take care of all the bills, in short...i do it all. the only thing i don't do, is go out of the home to work. he is the bread winner. BUT, my grandparents help us out quite a bit through out the month when money gets tight. the playstation takes up every waking moment of his free time. he does nothing else. if the stupid thing had not cost so much, i swear i would run it over in the driveway with the mini van!! My husband is 27 and needs to act like it! How can i make him see that the playstation is consuming his life and ours? whenever i talk to him about it, he blows me off and of course says that I am wrong. the other night i was waiting for him to come to bed, and i fell asleephe didn't come to bed til 5:30 am because of it
as an added note, this is not the first time this has happend. when my husband was in the army, he would tell them at work that he had a dr's appnt. and then stay home and play the stuoid thing all day. well, mysteriously...that one stopped working all of a sudden! I took it apart and screwed it up so he would go to work! Today, just for example, i was really busy running errands and all, i went to get cook out stuff (hot dogs, ect..) and i brought it all in and i had to leave to go to the dr myself, so i didn't get to put the stuff away. he was there with our two small kids, and playstation. needless to say when i got home thre hours later, the groceries were still out and melting, and the kids were still in PJ's at 4 in the afternoon with nasty faces and hands. no house work was done and all he had done was sit there. our 2 youngest are 2 and 1 year old. when i am here with them, i am constantly interacting with them. he just lets them run a muck! if this one went missing, he wouldDIE

with all i have to accomplish in the day, i don't have time...or the desire to play with it. all he plays is sports stuff. sorry i posted the other details twice.
