My PS3 is having trouble staying online both during Resistance and just using the PSN store; I have not tried any other game online. I keep getting the infamous 8002a548I error (among others), and I realize other people have solved this by downloading firmware updates. Here's my dilemma: I live in an apartment, and I connect directly into the wall via a brand new ethernet cable. Our internet is otherwise quite fast--1 meg/sec on average--so it shouldn't be a bandwidth problem. What can I do since I am not using a router, there are no firmware upgrades to get, etc. I have everything set on automatic in the network settings. Before anyone suggests that I switch anything to manual, could you please describe how one would do it--i.e. where I would locate the various numbers and addresses to input as I am not super computer savvy? Oh, and I should mention that I do "pass" the connectivity test and have the "Nat 2" type. The UPnP is "not available." Thanks
