That's legal, there is even an "Other OS" option in the XMB to switch to Linux but apparently they were able to dump Madden to an external drive. Desktop blu-ray drives wouldn't read the games. I wonder if they got it to run.

this is going to be like the dreamcast... Hackers will take apart sony piece by piece..

360 is already hacked. Wii will most definitely be hacked, especially with the new DVD format as will the PS3. Piracy is strong in every generation. I think the Dreamcast failed for other reasons. Don't get me wrong, I loved that system as well. It was also the best smelling system out of the box EVAR.
yeah, the 360 is just a firmware hack... i haven't seen any legit modchips with homebrew software apps yet.... With the ps3, you can take out the hd and install a bigger hd without any flashing or a modchip.. it just seems a little easier to mod. plus nintendo always did a good job of being secure, but with a regular format dvd... they are going down quick...
