Playstation 2 Scratched Disc?

My Grand Theft Auto game is scratched pretty bad.There small and i just want to know is there a way to get it to work again it will work but it skips alot in the beginning.
 
this method works on alot of disk that skips but its not permanate. take a wet rag and wipe the disk FROM THE CENTER OUT. many people just wipe around the disk and that doesnt help. when your dont wiping it with a wet rag then dry it from the inside out. put it back ina see if it works.
 
u could go to gamestop or gamecrazy and they could fix it for 2 $ and words like NEW, i did 10 games for 20$ and those games cost 40$ each i saved alot
 
or do what everyone else does got to your game store were u can rent games rent grand theft auto and switch the disk
 
You could buy a dick cleaner/fixer for around twenty bucks at Wal-Mart, but if you have money, it would probably be easier just to buy a new GTA game, the PS2 ones are pretty cheap now. Try cleaning the disk with a soft cotton cloth, but if the scratch's are really bad, even a cleaning machine won't fix it.
