playstation 2 repair... pliz help?

My playstation 2 is ruined. It sounds awful and I need to open it, but I just can{t find how. I have the thick version, I guess this is the oldest one. I need to reach the lenses to clean it or something. pliz help
 
You can get them used for about less than $30 now... its not worth the time to try to fix it =)
