Playing xbox in the car?

I am going on a 17 hour trip in the car soon, and i was wondering... should i bring my xbox 360? i want to. i have i small tv in there, and there is the yellow white and red input things in my car too. i just dont have the outlet for the power to the xbox.. i was wondering if this will affect my xbox too? like cause of the bumps? if so, any way that i can make it so that it wont be affected by bumps? thanks
