Playing Skyrim on xbox, trying to return amulet to Onmund. He's missing. Where did he go?

I get the on screen indicator to go into the college, but as soon as I go in the college, it doesn't tell me where to go. I've searched all over the college, and I've even used clairvoyance to tell me where to go.

I'm not having any luck.
