I'm trying to hook up devices that have only audio (NO VIDEO) via rca cables to my samsung tv LN46C630. This worked on my old sony lcd tv; i would simply change it to that source and presto, the audio was playing w/ a black screen. I also used to be able to simply plug a male to male headphone jack into the "audio in" for the pc jack to play my ipod and laptop audio. This jack consisted of vga in and an audio in which is simply a headphone jack in. When trying this on my new samsung, I get the same results:"No Signal. Check connected evice's power, cable connection, and source selection." I DON'T WANT TO PLAY VIDEO, only audio. Is there a work around to this?????
Oh Also, I know i can use the usb jacks for such things as an ipod, but i want to be able to simply play audio devices like my cd player, using the tv's speakers as volume.
