Play DVDs recorded with Sansui DVD/VCR?

I recently recorded about 15 DVDs using my Sansui DVD/VCR recorder. Then I sold it. Now I can't find anything that will play them. All DVD players say there is no disk in it. My computer recognizes a disk inside, but says there is nothing on it. It is a DVD-R
 
you have to finalize the disk most likely. i think there are computer programs that can do this. if you are in close contact with the person who owns your old player, take the disks over to their house and finalize them.
