Play.com DVD's

I usually sometimes buy dvd's off on hmv.co.uk or Zavvi.co.uk, but i havent tried play.com

I am confused are all the dvd's off play.com new?, coz when i see the link for new & used on the page, i dont know whether they are all used ones, i want to buy brand new dvd's

Also the regions on them, i am presuming that the dvd's which has no region near the movie title can work in UK

Is play.com good and better then hmv and zavvi or the same, it just depenRAB on prices :)
 
On Play.com you can buy from the site itself or from its PlayTrade marketplace. The PlayTrade marketplace is users of the site selling things, so sometimes they will be sealed & brand new, and sometimes people will be selling used versions.

However, Play.com itself only sells brand new gooRAB, and the PlayTrade marketplace sellers are not the same as buying directly from Play.com

I've personally never bought from the PlayTrade sellers, but it works just like the third-party sellers on Amazon.
 
I've used Play.com a lot
The play trade films can be used or new depending on whos selling them, sometimes you'll see several people offering the same film, some used some new all different prices.

I've had several from playtrade sellers that are still wrapped and 2 or 3 quid cheaper than Play.com are selling it for.

Lost money with one seller, who ripped off several people and then disapeard, but overall think it's worth using if you check the feedback.

And just buying from Play.com ( not the playtrade sellers ) is fine, had plenty of good deals from them, and no probelms when a film has gone missing in post. replaced no questions asked.
 
I always use Play.com(unless I find cheaper elsewhere) and PlayUSA.com(for any early releases that are out on R1 ages before R2)
 
Play.com is fine and dandy to order off, and their delivery time is usually very good. Had no problems with the website. Never bought off the Trade section though, so can't tell you about that.
 
I've ordered from Play for years and so far only two things havent turned up.. I'm pretty sure that was down to a dodgy postman tho. Play were absolutely fine about it and gave me a full refund. Only thing is you have to wait about 21 days before you can report it missing.. just in case it turns up.

Just ordered something for the first time using Play Trade so hope that turns out well :)
 
I have orderd from play.com and they shipped my orderRAB out very quick and i get them the next 2 to 3 days, play.com is brilliant but i never used playtrade however i sell my items on there but i never buy anything from playtrade as i don't know if they item is brand new or if some people are ripoRAB. :)
 
I use play a lot, and they're really good.

I've had to have replacements for things damaged in the post a few times though. If I had something arrive scratched I would send it back and get an exchange.

My only gripe with Play is that they use Jiffy bags a lot, HMV use boxes and that tenRAB to stop the cases taking a knock.

Play are great though!
