Platy fish with red sore?

I took one of my Platies in my tank out because it had an Anchor Worm. I took the worm out of the fish, and am keeping it quarantined right now. As for the other fish in the tank, I noticed today that one of my other Platies has a red sore on it's side. What is the cause of this? none of my other Platies have Anchor Worms on them. And I'm going to treat the tank today for Anchor Worms with tablets I'm going to buy at the pet shop.
EDIT: It's not located by the head at all. It's around the stomach.
 
Where are the sores located? If they are near the head/mouth/gills its most likely the prestage of mouth fungus. Buy some powdered broad range medicine, it'll fix it up. Just continue to monitor that platy because it can spread.
