intensity 1.3 W/m2 is directed at? Platinum has a work function of 6.4 eV. Radiation with wavelength 150 nm and intensity 1.3 W/m2 is directed at a platinum surface. (a) Find the maximum kinetic energy of the ejected electrons. (b) If 1.0% of the photons striking a 1.0 cm2 area of platinum eject electrons, how many electrons are emitted per second from that part of the surface?

please be extremely detailed and specific, down to units because i have the answer to part a, it's 3.02e-19 J. and the answer for part b has to be in electrons per second. I think you are supposed to use something along the lines of I=nE/At and then solve for n/t, but then how do you incoporate the1.0%? and do you use the KEmax or do you have to solve for the energy by E=hc/lamda, which equals 1.326e-18 J.
