I am interested in taking a waste plastic and finding a use for it. It is a clean roll of polyethylene (5' x 2000') with a small layer of polyurethane attached. Being that the polyurethane is not recyclable I was thinking perhaps it could be used in the building materials industry/construction plastic..etc, but I lack the connections/know how to do that. There may be several other uses but I am unclear of the possibilities. This plastic is currently landfilled. I am a chemical engineer by degree but have a lack of experience in this area. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Actually polyurethane are recyclable by both chemical and mechanical processes.
Even I heard that recycled polyurethane is used in sound Insulation of floors in the form of foams!!
So it is always better to recycle plastic instead of taking it to lanfilling.
