...recycled items? we need a web site that just deals with recycling items that come off of items we use every day. I have some ideas but would need some more input. Such as a lid from any particular item you use alot....what could you make out of it if you collected many of them...or such as the plastic ring that you get out of buy a six pack of sodas they make things out of those as they are they don't remelt it....or like a bag out of the plastic bags without processing it any more...if any one knows of a site like this and I have searched the web....with some luck on a few items but would like to be able to put together more people with more ideas of making things from plastic items we discard every day ....any ideas appreciated...my best one is one i use everyday ...a half gallon plastic milk jug...cut hole in the side one side only and it should be big enough for your 2 fingers to stick thru and get a plastic bag and hold it from the bottom and stuff it in the jug till inserted to the jug and do again and again when you get plastic grocery bags and you can save them nice an neatly in a draw or cupboard....you could paint them..but I say why I hide mine next to my canned goods...

ok lets see i knitt i have seen people take plastic bags and cut them into long strips and make stuff out of them. i have a 16 month old that loves it when i get a gallon jug and put any thing in it for them to make noise. i make purses and the stuff i put at the bottom instead of cardboard i use cross stich plastic it is washable and the left over i use to make blocks for my son to play with. also u can take dish washing gloves and cut the fingers off and use them when reading a book or mag. and u can take the arm part of it and cut little shapes out of them and put them on the bath tub floor so u dont fall. every thing can be reused. i seen on tv the other day they took used motor oil and cleaned it and sold it. they even say it works better the sec time around. my fav thing is to take a half gallon jug and put dog food in it and push some of the air out and play with my dog. she loves getting it then when she smells the food she loves it. and it teaches her how to move the jug the right way to get the food out. so it is a learning tool and it does the same with my son too. i can put toys in coffie cans and have him open the lids to find them. i hoped i helped.
