I had my plasma tv leaning against a wall with a with a sheet covering it because some construction was going on in my home and I want to kept the dust off of it. A little a later, a directv guy came over to install cable and lifted the front part of the sheet, but left the back covered. I had no idea that the sheet was blocking the fan vents until the TV just cut off.
When I went to check it, the plasma was really hot and a red light kept blinking. It has now cooled off, but it will not cut on. Every time I try to turn it on, the red blinking light appears. Did I just burn out my tv or is it in some kind of safety mode? the model of the tv is a Panasonic TH-42Z700U. Any suggestions?
