I've been diagnosed with Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease. Told it could be a pre-cursor for Lupus, Scleroderma or Sjogren's since my labs are highly positive. Rheumatologist put me on Plaquenil. I've been on it a couple of weeks and have had really bad digestive problems including diarrhea and nausea. Also felt like I was getting a kidney infection last week and ended up at a walk-in clinic yesterday because of it. I've not had any pain relief from the Plaquenil yet and he told me it could take a couple of months. I'm wondering of all of this is related to the Plaquenil. Can you tell me what side effects you experienced on Plaquenil and how long they lasted? For those of you taking Plaquenil, how long have you been on it and has it really helped? Thanks to anyone replying!
