Every place where pepperoni ham or other haram ingredients are served, all of the food (including halal food) is likely to become haram due to cross-contamination.
Muslim consumer group and (Zahiba?) they all claim Pizza restaurants like PizzaHut and Papa Johns to be HALAL.
No they are NOT.
See. There are several problems BEHIND THE SCENES.
1. Often males despite all rules etc. don't wash their dirty hands after coming out of bathrooms, and after having ciggaretts, and after getting high on weed, and after drinking alcohol, and after touching dirty money etc.
2. When they begin to make Pizzas, they have all haram and halal toppings right infront of them. It don't matter if they washed their hands or put gloves on, all halal toppings gets contaminated with haram toppings, not to mention dirty contamination due to their sneezes.
Example,
1. A Christian orders a Pepperoni Pizza with Onions and Mushrooms on it. The Pizza maker puts Onions, Mushrooms, Pepperoni and THEN cheeses the pizza.
The cheese is in single bucket, it is now contaminated with hands that touched peperoni. The cheese itself maybe actually halal but now due to contamination becomes haram. In fact, I have seen pieces of pepperoni inside the same good ol cheese.
I can go on and on to convince that the haram procces by which a Pizza is made makes the whole Vegi Pizza haram.
In order to make a Halal Pizza it would take longer since a sincere Muslim would do it very very very carefully..
So its upto us to either please our desires or Allah.
