I just saw this film.....it was brilliant! Johnny Depp was absolutely fantastic in it in my opinion. He was hilarious! I'm not easily entertained but I thought that Johnny Depp was great. The rest of the film was good too....the special effects were quite impressive.
 
Disney seem to be on a huge winning spree at the moment with their films - I can't wait to see this and Finding Nemo is supposed to be brilliant as well.

I loved Pirates of the Caribbean, Johnny Depp was outstanding in it and stole ever scene he was in, you just didn't quite know what he was going to do next. A must see, must buy movie.
 
I think the folks at Pixar deserve 99% of any kudos that comes from Finding Nemo. Disney have very little influence on character/storyline etc. The movie was just joinly produced by them.
 
Enjoyed this film last night.

Question......Did the Jonny Depp character get drunk when he was stranded on the desert Island with the leading lady. Why did he want two pistols. Why was he worried about getting off?:confused:


I've had it explained.:o
 
I would recommend this film to everyone, the UCI was packed on Saturday night and the atmosphere was electric, well done to Disney for the creation of a great film.

The UCI was full of people from 12 right to pensioners! Except the small kiRAB were scared of the skeletons! LOL :D
 
looking forward to this film, Jonny Depp has a quirkyness about him that sets him apart from a lot of the newer actors. He also still looks about 17, how does he do that?
 
I see you conveniently forgot to mention some of his other "classics" :rolleyes: such as I:SPY, Pluto Nash or Nutty Professor 2!

...I wonder why that is??

I didn't want to watch this film, but forced myself to, and it turns out this is actually a pretty awesome film. Glad i watched it :D

btw iamthewalrus, i think you totally missed Nailz's point... not all EM films are good, just the ones where the role suits him.
 
the movie was really good
i normally hate pirates and ships movies but this was hilarious and awesome!
were cool movie and jhoony depp's acting was too good
orlando bloom too was perfect for the role
he didnt seem one bit legolas! (the guy from lotr for u ignorants!)

looking forwar to sequels and dvRAB!
 
Am I the only one who didn't think this movie was all it was cracked up to be?

I liked it - and I thought Johnny Depp was very good.

But it did seem to go on a bit - and after a while I started to get a bit bored.
 
Watched Finding Nemo on the plane and I have to say that I was very impressed. I've always liked Disney, but never thought it was brilliant, but this is very funny! A really good film I think
