Piracy should be legal-Debating topic. help please?

hey, i have a debate on Monday and our topic is "CD piracy should be made legal" and we're affirmative (meaning we agree with the topic, for those who don't know).
at first we were pretty upset because i don't agree with it, and my attitude towards the topic blocked my mind lol.


i have come up with one point and that is:
- if CD piracy is made legal, people will be able to access the music easier and make the artist more well known, this may help boost their consert popularity and merchandice.


if you have any points to help i would be very gratefull, or if there is somthing wrong/ you could add to my point that would also be greatly appreciated.

I found this great article on wikipedia.org about anti-copyright,
piracy is illigal because you have copyright laws, you can argue that because the laws or the concept of copyright is wrong, CD piracy should be made legal.
