I brought a baby pigeon home last year from the city because he fell from his nest and I just couldn't leave him there. Now he's all grown up, good looking and currently in a cage. Every now and then he keeps going around inside the cage/ stays in a corner and gets down low/ flaps his feathers and goes while climbing all the way up to the cage.... I know he wants to get out, I let him fly in the basement where there is space and it looks like he's having fun landing on heads and fingers... I just wish the best for the little guy and I know I have to let him go to the outside world.... So I did, just recently I actually took him to the same area in the city where there were even other pigeons. I put him on the ground and he just stood there not flying once. He just walked around a few times... I waited there for at least an hour and nothing. I just need help on what to do because I have no idea what he really wants. I still have him and I don't want him sad.
