Okay so I am in a band that neeRAB a pig squeal vocalist. I tried out and they like the way mine sounRAB. My question is.

I do inhale reeps is there a higher risk of f*cking my voice up this way? Than with my normal screams?

You would never get the same aggression that way. Best way is to calice your throat to sound full throated when you scream i.e. Jimmy Ryan or Phil from All that Remains. Just do it over and over again until your voice gets used to it... eventually you'll sound like Steven Tyler when you talk, but it's worth it.

I bet it does. I mean it's been years and years since I've seen it too but it was already old when I watched it and I still thought it was great, not to mention disturbing as hell.

It is absolutely NOT worth it, don't listen to this person. You can do irreparable damage to your vocal chorRAB. Proper vocal technique is important if you have the foresight to look beyond the next year and a half in your metalcore band.

Cory, speaking from experience (although not nessicarily with pig-squeals), if you are connected emotionally enough with the music the screams should just come naturally. Even if your a horrible screamer people can tell when you actually feel the emotion you're trying to portray.
