I've recently aquired a painting. It is an image of a disheveled old man smiling with his arms crossed- on the back of it is a worn old sticker tag that says "The Old Shepard, Attributed to Pieter Bruegel the Elder 1569-? Kunsthistorisches Museum Vieena. Oil on wood." At first I thought this was a print, but recently the lower part of the frame came off and I saw that this actually was an oil painting on a block of wood. I researched Pieter Bruegel the Elder and was pleasantly surprised for his notoriety - but can not find any images of "The Old Shepard" online. Basically what I'm asking is- what do I have here? What is this worth?
