I was driving today with my friend and we were just getting off the Interstate. By the way, we were driving in my 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (LOL, I had to say that, I love my car LOL). I asked him if he wanted to stop through the McDonalds drive thru and get something. I was really dry so I had to get something to drink. So I get a large coke and he gets a small order of french fries a large coke too. Well, in his order of french fries there was a noticeable long piece of hair. He freaked. I guess I can’t blame him. That’s pretty grose. So, I asked him if he wanted to go back thru again and tell them. He said yes. I said ok. So we get ready to drive back in the drive thru. Before we go back into the drive thru, I said told my friend this exactly “they are going to think we are two idiots coming through the drive thru to complain about a piece of hair. I said maybe we should go in, but there was a long wait inside so he tells just lets go back to the drive thru. We proceeded to go back in the drive thru and I just told my friend maybe we should just order a new order. I told him we can pretend the new order will be for me but then I will give it to you. But he said ‘NO, that’s stupid because it isn’t our fault that there was hair in the french fry bag”, I said ok whatever just give me the bag and when we went through the drive thru I told them on the speaker thing that there was a problem with the order she said to bring it to the second window. We get to the second window and the lady asked what happened. I told her there was a piece of hair in my friend’s french fry back (luckily we kept the big piece string of hair in the french fry bag so we could prove it really was hair). She looked at it, took the bag from us, then came back to the window and gave me what we thought was a new order of french fries, but when my friend got it back he said to me it was the same bag. All they did was take the piece of hair out. He still say it was not right she should give us a new order. I told him “dude look if I ask for a new order they are probably gonna get all pissed off and ban us from coming back there for complaining about hair. “ He said it was a health issue so I had yes I can agree but I don’t know if we should just forget about the hair thing. He got pissed at me because he thought I was okay with the fact that McDonalds put a piece of hair in his french fry bag. I told him no I am not okay with it, but they did remove the piece of hair so it’s not like you are going to eat the hair”. He thinks we should have gotten a new order. The french fry that the hair was touching could have been discarded, but the other fries were fine. The lady at the drive thru said “well, if you want a new order you need to drive thru again”. I asked her can we change it out she said did you eat them? we said he only ate a couple until we discovered the hair. She said well you will need to talk to a general manager and he isn’t here now.

My friend though his fries out. He acts like he paid for them. OMG, I paid for my drink and his drink and the fries. It was only like $3. He gets all pissed at me and we argued about it in the car and then I just told him just drop this, it aint’ worth it. And then there is a lot of “frustrating silence” in the car because we both just stopped talking and then I get to his house drop him off, he tells me “see you later” but the way he tells me suggested he is pissed at me. I haven’t talked to him tonight. It has been a few hours since this occurred.

Was I wrong????? what more could I have done?
Was mcdonalds wrong for not giving a new order?
THE FRENCH FRY THAT THE HAIR TOUCHED WAS THROWN OUT. THE OTHER FRIES WERE FINE.

Who’s wrong, who’s right? what do I do?
