I'm still to new here to view your pic's sinjin, but as soon as I can I look foreward to comming back here for a view. That said I can see Da Butcher's pic and that bike is friggin Sweeeeeet!

The fairing has its own mount but it mounts just like the factory shield does. You replace the factory notched rubber washers that your factory shield clips into with the supplied plastic washers. The fairing goes on and off just as easily as the factory shield. With the fairing there are slight adjustments you can make to raise lower the height and also the angle so can be more upright or swept back.

The factory shield can be mounted in same way it always was. Takes 30 seconds to switch from either fairing, factory shield, no shield

A lot of guys over on the VTX boards have gotten this fairing. I was thinking of going that route also if I was gonna keep the the VTX...looks great!

On the early bikes this is pretty much all the fairing consisted of. There was no radio or inner fairing. Looks great on your bike. With the $450 for paint, what is your total cost?

Looks fine- great paint match! Saw a softail deluxe with the same make fairing this year and was painted to match the two-tone original paint, they make a really slick product.
