Picky female betta fish?

I got a betta about a week ago and when i got her i got hikari bio gold pellets, which i was told is the best thing for her. well she wasnt eating at all until friday when i went to the pet store and they told me i could try giving her a "treat" just to get her to eat something at least. so i gave her dried bloodworms which she ate happily. the guy at the store mentioned its not the best thing for her but if that is all she will eat it wont kill her. i decided to try getting the flake kind by tetra min and she wont eat that either. is there anything else i can do? how do i get her to eat the other foods that are better for her health? thanks!

it sometimes takes a few days for a fish to get used to new food when switching. it could just be a phase she is going through and eventually eat the pellets if she gets hungry enough.
