I got hit in the rear passenger quarter of my car, and also paid to have the front bumper bar of my 2000 Hyundai Accent repaired, and when I picked it up I noticed that my drivers head light was dull and the hi-beam indicator lamp didn't turn completely off. Driver headlight was dull with normal & hi's on. Took it back to the mechanic this morning who changed the bulbs, scratched their heads & annouced they had no idea, here's a recommended auto electrician. Rang elec, he said bring it over and he'll have a look tomorrow.......but I have now noticed that (since the mechanic changed the bulbs) that I have no hi-beams that stay on, but they flash when I pull the stick back towards me. Now the auto electrician is saying that it's probably my indicator switch, and I'm wondering if I have a short somewhere
can someone please give me some advice before I end up out of pocket for a new stick that I quite possibly don''t need? I would think that if it was the stick it'd be affecting both headlights, not just the drivers? Thanks
thanks guys
lol now the tricky question.......should I try & find it (my bf is an electrican but not a auto one) or should I let the auto elec look after it? Would it be more likely to be in the front end where they may have removed my headlights or in the rear end where they had to remove my tailight? lolololol sorry about so many questions but I'm really curious about it!

thanks guys
