EDIT:
so I found this link:

then this:

and I've made up my mind on the w960. Aside from waiting, can anyone see anything wrong with this phone? LOL
Original Post:
Right now, I've got a Sony Ericsson s710a and I love the thing to death. I've dropped it numerous times and it still works. I like the durability of it, the ease of file transfers via the memory stick, and the menu system/sms ease of use.
I use it as my mp3 player but I want MORE storage for my music library. I just learned about A2DP and found some sweet headsets on engadget that will be coming out, so A2DP capability is a must!
I've had a Sony Ericsson for a few generations (T637 or something) and I pretty much love the menus. I put Opera Mini to quench my thirst for a browser and I check my email a lot. I saw the w600i on SE's website, but I just read that the keys are pretty crappy. I'm a fast learner so I can learn a new navigation system in a few hours, but I'm torn about what's new that's out there and since everyone here lives and breathes everything cellular you'd be able to offer suggestions.
Oh yeah, my bill is killing me because I don't have a data package (i'm on AT&T) so I was also wondering if there was anything that'd be able to jump on a wifi connection at home/office/coffee shops. I have TMobile HotSpot accounts as well as AT&T's hot spot services so I really don't think I need to upgrade my service plan to include a data package.
Here are my needs:
A2DP
Large (2gb+) storage. [1gb will suffice] either external or internal.
Ease of file transfers via card or what not.
Adequate screen size for browsing in basic html...
wifi-able?
fast menus I HATE LAG!!
I'm fine with getting a phone and unlocking it too btw.
I've held and tinkered with a blackjack, but I'm not sure I like a full QWERTY keyboard. I text a lot on my phone and I like being able to text quickly with one hand if/when I'm driving...
It's funny because my girlfriend bought me an iPhone for my birthday, but I told her to return it because I don't wanna install itunes, EVER... that might sound like a stupid reason, but hey... everyone has their opinions right??
All suggestions are welcome, since I've had this phone for a while, I've been out of the phone scene!! I used to change my phone every few months, but I settled and loved my SE too much to part with it!! Thanks!!
