Okay, well I'm going into my junior year in high school next year. I'm not the brightest of the bright but I get pretty good grades...I made National Honor Society with my GPA this year -- cumulative weighted GPA was 3.640, and it would've been higher but I had a personal issue and was out for a whole term where my grades got dragged down.

Next year, for junior year, I was planning on taking two AP classes. One is AP English and one is AP Bio.

The problem is, senior year I want to take AP Calculus A/B (I'm a really good math student and I love it), another AP English which shouldn't be a problem, and AP physics. So junior year I was thinking I should take regular physics (honors) to get ready for AP. I was going to drop history and take physics as a juinor, then take my 3rd (necessary) year of history senior year.

BUT...for some reason, I heard you have to take your three years of history consecutively, so that won't work. That means there's no room for physics in my schedule next year. Now I'm not very passionate about biology...the teacher said it was best to take AP Biology if you were "pursuing a career in science," which I don't plan on doing. I'm better at bio than chem though, so I decided to take it. There is a LOT of summer coursework and it's supposed to be the hardest class at my school.

Now I have a few questions.

1. Should I just drop AP bio altogether and take physics instead to get ready for AP physics?

My concern about that would be the fact that I'm taking THREE APs senior year, and I'm thinking maybe this heavy workload (45 mins. of reading per night? yikes!) will teach me to manage my time better...something I'll probably need for three AP classes.

2. Do I really need physics before AP physics? Like, is it absolutely necessary? I'm really good at math and my dad is a mathematician and really good at physics too, so if I had tons of trouble he could help me. It's not *required* at my school to take physics before AP physics, but it's recommended.

Help is SOOO appreciated, thank you :)
