A boat that can travel 2.5 m/s on still water is not on a river that flows due east at a velocity of 2.0 m/s. What is the ground velocity of this boat when the boat is headed 45 degrees W of N?

ive been trying to do this for a while now, and no matter how i tackle it i keep getting the wrong answer... i found the resultant velocity using pythagoras (came to 1.8 m/s) but as for the direction and degree i have no idea...any help is much appreciated!
