1. Two mass-spring systems vibrate with simple harmonic motion. If the spring constants are equal and the mass of one system is as twice that of the other, which system has a greater period?
2.The free-fall acceleration on the surface of the moon is approximately one-sixth of the free-fall acceleration on the surface of the earth. Compare the period of a pendulum on the moon with that of an identical pendulum set in motion on the earth.
3.Why is a wound mainspring often used to provide energy to a pendulum clock in order to prevent the amplitude of the pendulum from decreasing?
(I seriously can't get the answers for these questions can u make them easier for me to understand?)
Thank you
your helps are mostly appreciated.
