A 0.5kg mass attached to a spring of force constant 8Nm^-1 vibrates with simple harmonic with an amplitude of 10cm. Calculate:
a.The Maximum value of the speed and acceleration
b.The speed and acceleration when the mass is at x=6cm from equilibrium position.
c.The time it takes for the mass to move from x=0cm to x=6cm
Generally i am able to complete (a) and (b). The answers for (a) and (b) are:
a.0.4ms^-1 , 1.6ms^-2
b.+- 0.320ms^-1 , -0.96ms^-2 respectively
but i'm unable to solve (c) pls help, without using trajectory equation!
