I am reviewing physics after a 2 year hiatus and i only remember about 75% of what i should for an upcoming graduate school exam. This is one of many physics questions i will probably be posting. Thanks in advance for your time and help. :)

An electron in a TV picture tube is accelerated through a potential difference of 20 kV. What kinetic energy does the electron gain?

The answer is 3.2 x 10 ^ -15 Joules....but why? What equation should i be using to answer this?
