An electron has been accelerated from rest through a potential difference of 900 V.

a. What is its kinetic energy, in electron volts?

b. What is its kinetic energy, in joules?

c. What is its speed?

a. The definition of one electron volt is the energy an electron gets by being accelerated through 1 Volt. So if it is accelerated through 900 Volts...?

b. Convert electron volts to joules.

c. KE = (1/2)*mv^2
