A boat floats at 2.5km/h [N35°E] for 4.0 hours and then floats 5.0km/h [S70°E] for another 2.4 hours with the current. How do I change these velocity vectors into displacement vectors before combining them. How do I solve this problem using trigonometric formulas such as Sine Law and/or Cosine Law.

a) What would be the total distance of the boat?
b) What is the resultant displacement of the boat?
c) What is the average speed of the boat?
d) What is the average velocity of the boat?
