The arm is held in equilibrium by the deltoid muscle in the upper arm, which we assume is acting at 12 degrees to the horizonal a distance 8cm from the shoulder. Take the weight of the arm to be 33N, acting a distance 30cm from the shoulder. Find:
a) The deltoid muscle force (I found this to be 595N which was correct)
b) The reaction force (magnitude and direction) from the shoulder.
I am really struggling with part B, please show solution in full working out!
Thanks
