multiple questions-Please show all work, i really need help!!!
1. a farmer must purchase a water pump to pump 400kg of water per minute up from a well 20 meters below the ground. what is the minimum power rating of the pump which will do the job?(in watts)
2. a small pendulum bob attached to a 3meter long string fastened to the ceiling. the bob is pulled back to an angle of 30 degrees before being released.
A) what is the starting height of the pendulum bob?
B) what will be the speed of the bob as it reaches its lowest point?
3. the graph to the right shows the relationship between applied force and distance for a frictionless lab cart with a mass of 2kg. the cart starts at rest.
graph=
force (N)

2|...../

...........3..............5
Distance (m)
(hopefully you can understand this picture)
(really the only thing is that force of 4 and distance of 3 form right angle)
A) how much work is done on the cart over the first 3 meters?
B) what will be the speed of the cart after traveling the first 3 meters?
C) what is the additional work done on the cart over the next 2 meters?
D) what is the acceleration of the cart over these 2 meters??
E) what is the final velocity of the cart after traveling the full 5 meters?
not to bug anybody, but i need you to show work, meaning formulas used and how numbers fit in etc.
THANKS!!!!! in advance!
