An object that weighs 50.0 N is moving at a speed of 11.0 m/s. The object receives an impulse of 125 N-s for 0.520 seconds in the direction the object is initially moving. What is the final speed of the object?

I got 13.5

125/50 = 2.5
11 +2.5 = 13.5

An 50.0 N object moving at a speed of 11.0 m/s receives an impulse of 125 N-s for 0.520 seconds in the direction the object is initially moving. What constant force would produce this impulse?

A 950 kg VW is moving at 98.0 km/hr. At what speed will a 5250 kg truck have the same momentum as the VW?

98.0 km/hr = 27.222 m/s
Pf - Po = M*Vf
Pf = 950*27.222
Pf = 25861.09

25861.09 = 5250 * Vf
25861.09/5250 = Vf
4.93 = Vf

A 950 kg VW is moving at 98.0 km/hr. What impulse would the VW exert on a brick wall if the VW collided with a brick wall, coming to a dead stop in .150 seconds?
M*V = F * delta T
950 * 27.222 = F * .150
172000 = F

A 950 kg VW is moving at 98.0 km/hr. What average force does the wall exerted on the VW (or the VW exert on the wall) during the collision if the VW comes to a halt in .15s?

I got 172 kN
