Working on a physics packet I ran into 2 problems that I just couldn't get. If someone could please help me get these, I have a test tomorrow over this. Explanations would be very useful!
1. An 85 kg astronaut is floating in space. He gets 10 m away from his ship. He throws a wrench which weighs .800 kg in opposite direction with the velocity of 20 m/s. How long will it take to reach the ship?
2. Your lower arm is 35 cm. You bicep muscle attaches 1.5 cm from your elbow joint. If a bicep muscle can exert a force of 1250 N, what is the maximum mass that can be lifted by a forearm?
