What is the stopping distance of the car, as a measured from the point where the driver first notices the red light?
57. A spelunker (cave explorer) drops a stone from rest into a hole. The speed of sound is 343 m/s in air, and the sound of the stone striking the bottom is heard 1.50 s after the stone is dropped. How deep is the hole?
14. The muzzle velocity of a gun is the velocity of the bullet when it leaves the barrel. The muzzle velocity of one rifle with a short barrel is greater than the muzzle velocity of another rifle that has a longer barrel. In which rifle is the acceleration of the bullet larger? Explain your reasoning.
*****For this question... yes i know that the longer barrel should have the greater muzzle velocity... but the question says the shorter one has the greater velocity....
