I am struggling with this question, I can get the answer but it doesn't make any sense.
A 2.0 kg mass placed on a smooth (no friction) level table, is attached to a light string passing over the edge of the table with a frictionless pulley as illustrated. Determine the magnitude of the:
a) acceleration of the 2.0 kg mass.
b) tension in the string.
