Determining the Angular Velocity:
If a system is rotating but not moving about its centre of mass it has an angular momentum. If then this rotating body is placed into motion acquiring angular velocity through w=v/r would the net angular velocity be the sum of both the angular velocity acquired from rotation and its trajectory motion?
