Do I need Physics if I be a Photographer?
I don't think I'm going to do very well in Physics, but I really want do be a Photographer. The college I'm looking at doesn't mention anything about Physics, but my Physic book said I do. Is it really necessary?

You do need to understand the characteristics of light. One example would be the inverse square law. It is applied every time you take a photograph. But a formal education in physics is not necessary, but physics is interesting- go ahead, take a course in physics. Couldn't hurt, now could it?

Photography is artistic.

Can you draw? See a picture?

Best kept as a hobby especially as digital is so cheap and everyone is taking photographs.

Join your local camera club and ask around.
